About Chef Saeed
Chef and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of culinary and hospitality experience, I am the owner and creator of SunfireHotsauce, a San Diego-based small-batch hot sauce company specializing in fresh, all-natural, chef-crafted pepper sauces.
Originally from Baltimore, Maryland, my culinary journey took me to Hawaii, where I earned degrees in Culinary Arts and Patisserie from Kapiʻolani Community College. I went on to work in restaurants throughout Honolulu and Waikiki before continuing my career in Southern California at The Ritz-Carlton Dana Point, a luxury resort in Rancho Santa Fe, and later as a Food Service Director with Sage Dining Services.
Today, I combine my professional culinary background with my passion for fresh chiles to create bold, flavorful sauces inspired by Asian fusion, Hawaiian flavors, soul food, and Mexican cuisine. Based in Vista, California, I’m proud to share SunfireHotsauce with customers at local farmers markets and throughout the United States.
